Tomorrow is the ten year anniversary of the US release of one of our favorite films: No Country for Old Men. Filled with gripping action, thrilling performances, and thoroughly gruesome depictions of violence, No Country is easily one of the best films of all time. Javier Bardem, Tommy Lee Jones, and Josh Brolin lead a cast of incredible performers, and Bardem won his first (and as of 2017, his only) Oscar for his role as Anton Chigurh, a silent and terrifying antagonist who uses fate and choice to justify his killings. The Coen Brothers wrote, directed, produced, and edited the film, winning three Oscars for their efforts. No Country is beautifully shot by iconic cinematography Roger Deakins, who was snubbed by the Academy despite his unbelievable work on the film. We highly encourage you to see No Country; feel free to check out our CINEMA page for more information on the cast and plot of the movie.
